Springfield Virginia is located a mere 12 miles south of Washington DC via Interstate 395. While the title of this posting may seem a little like it was written by Dragnet's Joe Friday, I will take the next sections to give you an overview of the Springfield VA Condo market.
First off, Springfield Virginia has 6 different condominium communities. None of these communities are High Rise or mid rise condos. All of them are a garden stlye condo that is less than 4 stories high.
The condo communities are Bentley Village, Cardinal Forest, Hiddenbrooke, Ramblewood at Daventry, Springfield Green & Tivoli. Over the my past nearly 10 years in the real estate business, I have had the pleasure of showing and assisting buyers & sellers in all of these Springfield VA Condos.

Located near Rolling Road and 7100 - where the Franconia - Springfield Parkway becomes the Fairfax County Parkway.
Cardinal Forest:
Located off of Forrester Blvd and Rolling Road between Burke Lake Road and Old Keene Mill Rd
Hiddenbrooke:
Located off of the Franconia-Springfield Parkway and Rolling Road- on Hunter Village Dr. The newest of the Springfield Condo Communities.
Ramblewood at Daventry:
Located near Hiddenbrooke in the same area off of the Franconia-Springfield Parkway and Rolling Road
Springfield Green:
Located off of the Franconia-Springfield Parkway and Backlick Road.
Tivoli:
Located off of Forrester Blvd and Rolling Road near Royal ridge Park.

Springfield VA Condos provide affordable housing alternatives for home buyers. The location of Springfield, near the major highways, especially now that the Springfield Interchange or "Mixing Bowl" project is nearing completion, is ideal for numerous commuters, government contractors and employees. Prior to the reconstruction of the Mixing Bowl, local commuters and long distance travelers shared the same lanes and travelers had to merge to the right or left to reach the correct lanes for their destination. The last of this weaving and merging was eliminated in.
Truth is: many consider Springfield VA Condos because of this location factor and the price points that they have remained at.
